Emeriti Faculty
A select number of Public Health faculty have been awarded Emeritus status in special recognition of their significant contributions to the development and operation of the Department. In academia, the term Emeritus is an honor awarded selectively at the time of retirement in recognition of substantial contributions to the institution, discipline, and practice community. It is an indicator of particularly distinguished service. Click on the names below and scroll to view a slideshow about their many contributions to the University and beyond.
(Some choose to use Emerita to indicate the individual is a woman, but this gender distinction is becoming less common. Emeriti is the plural form of both Emeritus and Emerita.)
