
Physical Activity and Assessment Programs
The Employee Wellness Program provides an opportunity for CSF employees to participate in a variety of exercise classes and health-related fitness assessments.
The Strength & Conditioning Class is a 75 minute class that meets twice a week in the Lifespan Wellness Center. You are free to perform your own strength training and aerobic conditioning routine under the guidance of the EWP Staff. You may also use the Lifespan Wellness Center during Open Hours and during other class sections based on availability.
The Women’s Workout Class is identical to the Strength and Conditioning Class but is intended to enroll women only.
The EWP Yoga Class is a one-hour class that meets twice a week. The class is designed to instruct you on how to perform specific postures and breathing methods to improve your strength, balance, flexibility, body awareness, focus and relaxation.
The Pilates Mat Class is a one-hour class that meets twice a week. It is designed to teach proper body alignment and breathing in addition to improving core strength, flexibility, and coordination.
The Circuit Training Class is a one-hour class that meets twice a week. It is designed to improving strength and flexibility through a variety of exercises.
The Exercise Ball Class is a one-hour class that meets twice a week. It is designed to instruct you on how to work out using a stability ball to improve the strength and endurance of your abdominal and back muscles.
Open Lap Swimming is available in the campus pool for anyone enrolled in either the Strength & Conditioning Class or the Women’s Workout Class.
The Fitness Assessment Program provides testing of aerobic fitness, body composition and blood pressure to employees for a fee. Employees can be tested without being enrolled in an exercise class.
Participants must complete a Health History and Risk Assessment prior to enrolling in an Exercise Class or completing a Fitness Assessment.
