The Center for Successful Aging,
through its educational, research, and service activities, has
as its mission the promotion of health and vitality, and the
reduction of frailty and disability in later years.
Statistics indicate that as life expectancy has increased, so too has the possibility of living more years with long-term disease, disability, and
frailty. For many, however, simple lifestyle changes can markedly slow or often reverse age-related declines.
Research shows that even moderate changes in diet and exercise can "extend one's active life" for many years.
Our programs are committed to enhancing the quality of life by helping people "be the best they can be" for as long as they live.
